Bending The Light

" A million light reflections....pass over me "

This has been on my mind for some time ..I have a peculiar preoccupation..well maybe the subject in an of itself isn't strange , but how much i muse on it , just may be

I want to live inside a rainbow..Not in the way that I can paint the walls.. It's something different.It's kind of hard to explain.

When I look into a beautiful chandelier made of the most pure lead crystal , I am enchanted all the beautiful reflections carry me away ..I could stare for hours.

The swirling iridescence of a bubble just blown..watching all the colors move and swirl around ,a storm of colorful beauty ,inspires a child-like wonder in me ..

The endless color found within diamonds ,opals , and geodes and other beautiful rocks and minerals, just strike me.

If I could have a curtain of prisms , that when the light shown through bathed me and my surroundings in beautiful twinkling speckles of rainbows and light , I would be amazed..

The hidden rainbow on the underside of cd's when the light hits them the right way..In the sky , when you see those bands of color in the sky.From your garden hose , when you let the mist create you a special little wonder ..and so much more, all of it is so beautiful to me ..I want to capture it.I want to hold it in my hands.

When I was younger , my parents had bought my sister and I this disco ball .. Even devoid of that angelic rainbow halo the little speckles of light moving around the room always drew so much of my attention , I would lay on my bed and just watch the little light circles move around the room.

I want to dance in the fantastical reflections of spectral light.I want my eyes to drink up the resplendent beauty.Ah , my simple pleasures..
